CAN PRAYER HEAL?
YES! According to James 5:15, “The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”
CAN PRAYER HEAL CANCER OR DISEASE?
YES! According to Matthew 4:23, “Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.”
CAN PRAYER CHANGE GOD’S MIND OR MOVE THE HAND OF GOD?
YES! According to Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”
ALSO SEE 2 KINGS 20, “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord. And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.”
CAN PRAYER CHANGE THINGS OR WORK?
YES! Philippians 4:6-7 STATES, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
CAN PRAYER CURE DEPRESSION?
YES! 1 PETER 5:6-7 SAYS, “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
WHY DO WE OFFER FREE PRAYER?
Based on the Biblical exhortation written by the apostle Paul and inspired by the Holy Spirit, we offer prayer for all.
1 Timothy 2:1-7 states:
“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.”
